Katherine Kitterman has brought history to life at the Smithsonian Institution, Holocaust Memorial Museum, and other organizations in Washington, D.C. and Utah. She's currently the historical director at the women's history nonprofit Better Days, where she works with community leaders, local historians, and artists to share stories of women in Utah history. Katherine has degrees in International Relations and Public Policy and a PhD in history from American University.

This class introduces students to forgotten and overlooked changemakers in our history. We'll explore stories of Utah women who made their mark on U.S. history as suffragists, civil rights leaders, community organizers, and lawmakers by analyzing cartoons, listening to podcasts, and learning from artists
