More About Class

Ever look around and feel frustrated by the problems you see? Whether it's drama on your basketball team, in your friend group, in your home, in your city. Have you ever wanted to help? To step in and fix problems? But you're not sure how? Good leadership is the key to solving most problems. Good leadership unleashes people - allowing them to be their best selves and to come up with the best solutions. Leadership is one of the most necessary yet under-taught skills of the 21st century. The ability to connect with and lead people opens the doors to immeasurable possibilities. Using the principles of human development and psychology, this course will help students learn what it means to be a leader as well as develop the skills and toolset to actually lead. While this course may not offer specific solutions to the challenges we face, it will teach you universal leadership skills that can be applied to every situation. Whether you want to be a coach, a community leader, a politician, a non-profit volunteer, a teacher, a parent - or you just want to be a better and more confident leader right now with your friends, family, team, or community - the principles learned in this class will help you succeed.
