Common Questions

  • Can I start classes at any time?

    • Yes! We recommend starting classes during the suggested timeframe so that you'll be learning with others in your studio. However, you may start at any time.

  • How old does a student need to be to take the courses?

    • Students in grades 6-12 can take our courses. Only students who have completed the 8th grade can earn high school credit towards graduation. Students in grades 6-8 can take the courses to count for their PE credits in those grades to fulfill the requirements at their school.

  • How long do the courses take?

    • Each course is designed to take one month with about 1 hour of work per week outside of dance classes. Students are encouraged and supported to finish in that time, however, they may finish at their own pace if needed.

  • What classes do your courses count for in school?

    • We offer courses that count for the Lifetime Activities and Participation Skills graduation requirements in the state of Utah. Fitness for Life courses will come soon. Students who complete all the required credits for those courses through Arts Elevated will not need to take those classes anywhere else in order to graduate.

  • Can I take courses more than once?

    • You can, however, the same course can only count towards graduation once. If you would like to continue to take courses that count towards graduation you will need to complete one of the different quarters offered (more quarters will be available soon).

  • What if I have other questions?
